Woodland Village Nursing Center of Suring offers a fifty resident home, our Gillett Nursing Center offers a forty resident home and our Oconto Nursing Center offers a fifty resident home. All our homes are Medicaid/Medicare and VA certified.

Each home provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy both in-patient and outpatient, therapeutic menus, social services, detailed activity programming and transportation services both medical and recreational. We also have a licensed Beautician on staff to provide hair care needs for our elders in the convenience of their home facility.  Billing assistance is available.

Woodland Village Home Health is licensed in Shawano, Oconto, Marinette, and Forest counties providing excellent in-home care.

Woodland Village provides emergency phone conversations and visits when necessary, registered nurses to teach you about your medications, wound care, IV therapy, diabetic teaching and management, catheter care, as well as help with personal cares from our home health aides.

Therapists help the individual return to their prior levels of strength, flexibility and mobility. Emphasis is on independence in self-care and maintaining or restoring communication skills.

Ministry workers provide counseling to the elders and family. All services offered in-home are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Nursing Center Meals
Home cooked meals are served fresh and hot, which are dietitian reviewed with pre-planned menus. The nursing center offers an elegant dining atmosphere, therapeutic and mechanically altered diets. All food and religious preferences are honored.

Catering
Catering from our Oconto center offers a wide variety of made from scratch meals and hors d’oeuvres for those small to large needs, such as holiday parties, family meals, wedding receptions, showers and business meetings. Breakfast, dinner and supper menus are provided as well as theme specific event requests.

Woodland Village offers an Adult Day Care Program. Through this program, your family can access quality daytime care with activities for loved ones who may need some care or feel lonely. Care can be provided for just a few hours or the entire day (for up to 7 days a week) depending on the specific needs of your family. Our nursing staff is available 24 hours a day and is also trained to care for persons suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Here at Woodland Village we know the difficulties faced by families caring for an elderly loved one. We offer you a time for peace, relaxation and the knowledge knowing that your family member is safe and receiving the highest level of care.

We serve three meals a day, with snacks given between each meal. Activities are provided throughout the day which ensure the highest level of interaction between elders and staff. This can alleviate feelings of loneliness, helplessness and boredom that can be common with the elderly.

In addition to adult day care services, Woodland Village offers Respite Care Services for your loved one. The caregiver can take a short period off, rest assured that all needs are being met. Respite Care can be provided for up to 28 days. For example, a family may vacation and place their loved one in Respite Care for the vacation time period.

Woodland Village’s Ministry Leader is a licensed chaplain that has many years of pastoral and counseling experience to highlight Woodland Village's Non-profit ministry. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our elders and community in physical, emotional and spiritual ways.

The Ministry Department works with the Pastors and Priests of the area churches and we strive to offer elders and clients all the options that they request. Woodland Village is community minded and the Ministry Department is very involved and supportive of community events and takes part of many functions.

The Ministry Team is available at all three locations: Suring, Gillett, and Oconto; offering prayer support and counseling services.
